Personal Note
My favorite place in the world is the meager backyard garden I’ve been fostering in arctic plain that is Flagstaff, AZ, my childhood home. When I’m not pulling weeds or pleading with my beans to grow a little faster before the frost wipes them out, I’m likely at the creek or enjoying a sunset from the top of a mountain. I was fortunate enough to find my calling in soil science during my first semester here at the University of Arizona. I hope to foster this love of soil with my time in the Gallery Lab and my studies at the university, all while perfecting the art of arctic bean cultivation back home!
