Background
When I started at the University of Arizona I majored in microbiology and biology teacher preparation program.Since I wanted to focus on food production, fermentation and safety I switched to the ABE department to focus on engineering aspects of microbiology and genetics. I have taken extensive classes related to genetics, microbiology and plan to explore genetic engineering and fermentation reactors in grad school.
