Research Interests
I am working as a NASA Space Grant Research Intern with PhD student Martha Gebhardt on the following project:
"Can remote sensing be used to predict microbial activity?"
"Can remote sensing be used to predict microbial activity?"
Background
I was born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I am no stranger to the heat of the desert or the environment surrounding the Sonoran Desert. In fact, I prefer it to a cooler, greener environment. The desert is home to me and it is what has taught me to love the earth and environment. I hope to do what I can with my education to help our ever-changing world and the people in it. My future goals include pursuing a Masters degree in Atmospheric Science with an emphasis in Global Change and to one day work for NASA. I will be happy as long as I can be the Hispanic woman in science who serves as a role model for future generations.
